Dr. Dickson was born in San Antonio, TX and grew up in Germantown, TN.  He graduated from Germantown High School in 1993.  He then went to University of Alabama, Tuscaloosa and graduated in 1997 with a BS in Management Information Systems, a minor in Computer Science, and a minor in Biology.

He then married his high school sweetheart, Rebecca, and worked for a year on a computer help desk while she finished Pharmacy School at UT Memphis.  They moved to Birmingham for Dr. Dickson to go dental school at the University of Alabama.  He finished dental school in 2002 and went off to San Antonio for three years for his orthodontics residency at the University of Texas Health Science Center.
